DESCRIPTION:This twelve (12) hour course is designed to develop and enhance self-defense techniques and defensive behavior in women. Education and awareness are taught through discussions and practical exercises. Topics of discussion include situational awareness\, physical defense techniques (blocks\, strikes and kicks) and basic break away techniques to avoid the attacker altogether. At the end of this course\, the female student should feel confident in knowing different techniques she may use to protect herself or others from an attacker. This program is endorsed by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA).
