DESCRIPTION:Win a beautiful\, hand-crafted quilt while donating to a great cause!\n\n\nThe Chamber is raffling off a one-of-a-kind\, public safety themed quilt to raise funds for the 7th annual Valor Awards to be held on Friday\, November 1\, at the Clarion Inn & Conference Center.  \n\n\n\nThis queen size quilt is 100% cotton and was hand-crafted especially for the 2019 Valor Awards event from T-shirts provided by the various public safety agencies in our area.  The quilt-maker Rebecca Rickard lovingly designed and donated the quilt which is valued at $600.00.  Rebecca\, a Frederick County resident\, is a member of the Skyline Quilters in Strasburg that regularly makes and donates quilts to worthy causes.\n\n\n\nA portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Frederick County/Winchester Law Enforcement Foundation to support community outreach programs hosted by the Winchester Police Department.\n\n\n\nTickets are $10.00 each or three for $25.00 and will be on sale between now and November 1st.  The winning ticket will be drawn the night of the event.  You do not need to be present to win.
