SUMMARY:COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF THE NSV 2025 GRANT CYCLE
DESCRIPTION:CFNSV OPENS OUR 2025 COMPETITIVE SPRING GRANTS\n\n\n\nThe Community Foundation of the Northern Shenandoah Valley would like to personally invite nonprofits of the\n\nCity of Winchester\, Frederick County\, Warren County\, and Clarke County to apply to this year's 2025 Spring\n\nGrants. CFNSV is combining five competitive grants into one grant process named "2025 CFNSV Competitive\n\nGrants." Just one application needs to be submitted to be considered for funding from all five of the\n\nparticipating funds. The funds included are the Cochran Family Youth Fund\, the Paul and Martha Rees Fund\, the\n\nBoxley-Fox Endowment Fund\, the Community Future Fund\, and Chain of Checks. (To learn more about these\n\nfunds\, follow this link: https://cfnsv.org/receive/grant-opportunities/)\n\n\n\nThe CFNSV conducted a Grant Training Workshop which was led by Kim Herbstritt\, Executive Director of Blue\n\nRidge Habitat for Humanity to explain our grant process. In the past this has been very helpful for those\n\nwho attended. Attendance at this training is a factor taken into consideration when grant applications are\n\nreviewed. (Watching the training through the following video link is accepted as attendance.) This year's training\n\noccurred on Monday\, April 14th\, 2025. A copy of the training is now available on CFNSV's YouTube channel\,\n\nwith the following link: https://youtu.be/5v6XoyyGteI For access to the resources that was used in the\n\ntraining\, please follow this link HERE. The link will bring you to a Google folder that has the Grant Application\n\nTool and the 2025 CFNSV Grant Writing PowerPoint. Both tools were graciously provided to us by Kim Herbstritt\,\n\nthe Executive Director of the Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity.
